My eyeshadow palettes

So I realized I have A LOT of eye shadow palettes. This is in no way showing them off or bragging. I would just like to show you my collection because I adore make up and would like to see what your opinions are about my palettes! And if any of you have ideas or recommendations please tell me because I would love to hear them :). I love trying out new eyeshadows and seeing what works best with my eye color. I have a brownish hazel eye color and it usually gets lighter during the summer time. All of my eyeshadow palettes are from Urban Decay & Too Faced. I love all of my palettes because each color is so pigmented. They also stay on all day long - don't worry I use primer ;). I'm more of a natural looking make up user & I don't go above and beyond with making it super bright or super dark, I usually stay with the natural colors which is in my comfort zone.
Enjoy :)

No, I do not have Naked Basics, but I do have the other three. Actually, the reason why I got Naked Basics 2.0 is because I didn't have the Naked Basics original. The Naked Basics are all Matte colors & all of my other palettes do not have matte shades. So until around three days ago, I didn't have any matte eye shadows! I know crazy but now I am in the loop, so no worries! The Too Faced Natural Eyes is one of my favorites. I usually use it for my everyday eye make up and it is mostly bright shades. It comes with a little book showing you three different ways to pull off the eyeshadow colors in a not too dramatic way. I don't have a picture of the inside, so if you would like to see more about the product here is a link to the website!

This is the Urban Decay Sustainable Eye Shadow box. I got this for my sweet 16 from a friend and as you can tell I have used only a few of them, but I used them A LOT. The cover of it is bamboo & I think that is really unique. This palette is glitter world to the max! I love glitter just like any other girl does, but sometimes it can be too much. Since it was a gift I really do love it, but I don't know if I would go out and buy it myself. It's perfect for a night out downtown but maybe not for everyday, just my opinion!

This is the lovely Naked Basics 2.0, and as you can see I haven't used it yet. But I have been looking for matte colors a lot recently and so this was perfect for what I needed. It's great for traveling and even putting it in your purse for a touch up during the day. If any of you do have it and have used it, let me know what you think about it :)

These are all the brushes I use for my eyes. I know they aren't super fancy or well known, most are eco eyeshadow brushes, but I love them. Not only were they cheap, but they have amazing quality to them. I have had them for a couple of years and not one complaint. I adore them. I do want to get the Zoeva Rose Gold brush set, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet, but hopefully soon!

Lush with Lillie!

So I want to put it out there that I am a HUGE Lush fan! I only started using Lush about a year ago and I absolutely fell in love. The majority of the products I have used I have adored. From the bath bombs, to the shampoo to the facial masks! I love having my "me" time and that includes a lot of Lush products. If you don't know what Lush is, it is a store with 95% vegan and 100% vegetarian products. They fight against animal abuse and they believe in all natural products. All the products are handmade and for bath and face needs. If you love pampering yourself as I do, you have to check out what Lush is all about. I have used a lot of their products and the ones I am showing here are just a few of my favorites. Unfortunately with the move to my apartment, I haven't had a place to put all of my Lush products in a nice area - as you can see they are still in the bags - but I just wanted to show you that this is a part of my love for beauty products & what not :)

These are the bath bombs & bubble bars. The bath bombs are the sphere shaped ones and they are used to be placed in a bathtub full of water and they are used for moisturizing & for meditation. Each bath bomb is made with different ingredients to help relax the body & each has a different scent so you can find one that really helps with your body. The bubble bars are used for the bathtub as well, and they are the more square ones. They make bubbles and the bubbles stay in the bathtub the whole time you are in the bath. You don't use the whole bubble bar in one bath, you can break it in fours or however many times you like and use it that way. They are not expensive and I love how you can use it more than once!

The Tea Tree water (on the left) sorry it's a little faded, is used for your face. You spritz it on and it helps with breakouts and is basically used as a toner. I have seen a difference in my face when I use this product. The Daddy-O is a purple shampoo made for blondies, like myself ;) and it helps make your hair blonder. I tried it once and I have never used another shampoo since. I see a HUGE difference in how light my hair has gotten and it's all natural so it's healthier than a dye! The No Drought is a dry shampoo that is a powder & you just put it on your scalp and it does it's job!

The BB Seaweed is a wonderful face mask that has to be refrigerated and it helps reduce the redness in your face. Let me tell you that I have tried multiple face masks and I saw an immediate change in the redness of my face - which I struggle with a lot - after just one use of this product. You only have to leave it on your face for around 10 minutes & it does wonders. The Ocean Salt is a very popular face exfoliant and so I just had to try it because so many people have urged me to buy it. My face can be very sensitive with different products so I was nervous to try it, but it does no damage to my face and it actually makes it a lot smoother and more even toned. I only use it two to three times a week, I alternate between the BB Seaweed & the Ocean Salt and with the two, my face has never looked better!

As you can see, I am a Lushie and proud of it! So please, try the products and let me know what you think! If you have any questions about it at all don't hesitate to ask me :)

Welcome to my new home

Good morning lovies! I just moved to my apartment and it has been so crazy I haven't been able to get much blogging done! It was so hectic the first few days I just had to get situated and what not. Where I am living is absolutely beautiful but I do miss my parents a great deal. It can get lonely since I don't know anyone or where anything is either. I have 3 roommates, they are all older than me but they seem to be very kind and generous. We get along and thats always good! I have my own room and bathroom which is nice because I do love the privacy. I can't wait to see what my future holds for me but I know it is something spectacular. School starts next week so hopefully I am able to meet new people there and join some clubs. Praying I will be able to get involved and meet some awesome people! Here are a few pictures of the decor of my room. Enjoy!

Late night pondering

Good evening bloggers! As I am typing up this blog, I am typing it up on my new Mac laptop! Thanks dad! Just a few thoughts running through my head and thinking I should probably write them down. I leave for my "new life" in just 3 days! Let me tell you, I did not think that it would come by so fast. I am freaking out and super calm about it all at the same time! Doesn't make much sense huh? I don't get it either. There is a ton of packing left for me to do but I just don't know what to pack anymore! Truly, I had no idea I had SO much stuff and I am not even packing everything..just essentials ;) Since I am not working this semester I am really going to have to start saving money and not buying a million make up products..it will definitely be a challenge! But since we are on the subject of makeup I am just DYING to order some Zoeva brushes! Does anyone have any? Let me know if you do and tell me what you think of them! I know they are quite expensive but they are so beautiful and I just want them so badly! Well, thats the end of my ramble for tonight beauties, now I am going to pop in an old favorite movie of mine and call it a night!

P.S. This is my fav tea to help me fall asleep :)

Buying my first Mac lipstick.

Who knew buying your first high end lipstick could be so much fun? I always knew Mac lipsticks were extremely popular but never bought one. Yes I'm a huge beauty fanatic but I never got myself to be so in love with the lip colors and what not. But since I bought this gorgeous color I can't wait to buy more lip products and change up my lip game! It's called Fusion Pink. Too cute!

My nail rant

So I'm absolutely in love with my nails like this. Love the dramatic almond shape and even the color. But I am the type of girl who will go to the extreme like that, or have just the squared off nails or absolutely no polish! My nails are always all over the place and the color is always changing as well. These nails weren't difficult to deal with and they were so fashionable I just love the look so very much. Thinking about going back to it or just staying simple...

Trying this again...

Its a Friday afternoon before my physical therapy appointment and I realized I need to become more involved with writing. It makes me happy and I feel free, so why not? In just one week my whole life will be changed. I will be a "college girl." Living the life as most people say it. I will be moving into my apartment with three roommates and myself. It is nerve-racking to think about, but if I keep this blog up I feel like I won't be so alone after all. This is a new beginning. My four years of high school have a been a little crazy and traumatic at times. Losing family members, myself, and change all the time. This is the year to start fresh basically. The only one that is injured right now is myself. I can control that so I will put that into a positive vibe and work very hard so this injury does not get in the way of my life and school. My priorities will be school - which will actually be a first for me - but it will be my priority. Hopefully this blog will be too. I really hope I can keep this up and enjoy myself while writing in this blog. A lot is about to change in my life.
